These birch barks are sustainably sourced from many dead and fallen trees from a park in Sofia- the capital of Bulgaria. In that huge park there are thousands of old dead and fallen birch trees that are rotting but at the same time providing amazing quality foldable and durable birch barks that I gather, straighten and clean and dry well to be ready for crafting your various birch bark projects.
If you want I can provide a video where and how I sourced them from the park in Sofia.
The shipping packaging is made with the extra protection of bubble postal envelopes, reclaimed soft materials, and card boxes. We reclaim packaging materials from technology products unboxed from different local shops.
We will donate a sum from your purchase to plant one tree with the Bulgarian Foundation 77. We will leave a monthly report for the donated money of a given Month in our blog section on the website.
