Handmade burlap sketchbook crafted with herbalist Thuya branch with hardcovers and pages made of 100% recycled Xerox papers great for dry and ink media, writing, and sketching.
You can fill in your recipes, poems, travel memories, or sketches on recycled paper sheets with this pretty much organic journal- organic paper, organic fabrics, herbalised plant, and natural homemade coffee 'dye'. You can choose from 100 pages or 200 pages variation for each different dimension.
I used the live Thuya branch and herbalised it with special eco-friendly glue and put it on the front cover on a coffee-colored Tintoretto paper. The front cover also has a framing made out of the burlap fabric used for the spine of the blank journal.
Choose between 100 and 400 pages.
Paper thickness: 54 lbs. ( 80 grams/m2).
100% recycled paper pages: off-white and blank.
Customization: Please leave a message while you check out and tell me a color for the inside Cover of your craft- all basic colors available ( you can also have the book with coffee-colored insides as on the pictures). Please also choose a color for the thread binding and message it while you check out. I will craft for you a one-of-a-kind, personalized by your choice sketchbook like this journal crafted with a Coptic binding.
If you like your book with personalized writing on the cover I can add names, dates, or any wording with ink on the cover!
Your book will have a bookmark too- you can choose from a twine cord with a vintage style key on the end or a satin ribbon ( 1 cm. width) in any basic color you prefer!
You can personalize the color for the inside of the book- I use fine card stock- you can tell me in a message after your purchase what you prefer for the Inside covers:
1. A cardstock in any basic color you prefer
2. Cardstock stained with homemade coffee I hand dye myself
What you see in the pictures is actually the 4 x 5.8-inch variation. Please choose your measure from the options.
The bigger measure you choose, the more and bigger Thuya branches your travel journal will have.
The Coptic stitched binding is sewn with cotton thread and it strongly tightens the pages and the hardcovers. The binding itself is a mindful observation to experience throughout your daydream and it is also easily opened! This binding is comfortable and opens to 180 degrees.
The fabric that wraps the spine and that makes the framing around the plant of this eco-friendly sketchbook is also organic and it's linen burlap. Leather strips make a fine accessory for wrapping the sketchbook journal pages and holding the vintage-style key bookmark.
The shipping packaging is made with the extra protection of bubble postal envelopes, reclaimed soft materials, and card boxes. We reclaim packaging materials from technology products unboxed from different local shops.
We will donate a sum from your purchase to plant one tree with the Bulgarian Foundation 77. We will leave a monthly report for the donated money of a given Month in our blog section on the website.
