This fabric sketchbook journal with soft covers is made from a material I call ''Fabricpaper''. The material I make myself as I glue the fabric with eco-friendly adhesive onto a colorful crafting cardstock with 105 lbs. The fabric is 100% natural burlap fabric produced in Bulgaria and is strong and fine for crafting books. It is light green.
Then I cut the desired size for the covers and bound them with paper sheets with the Japanese stab binding technique. This notebook is personalized and you can choose the size, Hemp thread color, and also you can choose the inside cover cardstock color- for this option please leave a note in your order before you check out. All basic colors are available for the inside cover colors.
Choose between 50 and 150 pages.
Paper thickness: 54 lbs. ( 80 grams/m2).
100% recycled paper pages.
Hemp cord binding.
Customization: Please leave a message while you check out and tell me a color for the inside Cover of your craft- all basic colors available ( you can also have the book with coffee-colored insides as on the pictures).
If you like it with personalized writing on the cover I can add names, dates, or any wording with ink on the cover!
For the thread colors please see the last picture of this journal page where you can select a color out of 25 different colors.
The papers for crafting your journal will be 100% recycled Xerox papers great for dry and ink media, writing, and sketching. The paper does not bleed through when you write on it.
You can use pastels, inks, pencils, pens, and markers on this paper.
The Japanese stab binding is made with an eco-friendly Hemp cord and it strongly tightens the pages and the two soft covers.
The feeling of holding one such journal resembles holding a piece of a vintage sketchbook or a rustic old book. The shipping packaging is made with the extra protection of bubble postal envelopes, reclaimed soft materials, and card boxes. We reclaim packaging materials from technology products unboxed from different local shops.
We will donate a sum from your purchase to plant one tree with the Bulgarian Foundation 77. We will leave a monthly report for the donated money of a given Month in our blog section on the website.
