Travel art journal

This is a handmade mini journal orange notebook with 1.7 x 2.2 inches measures, with Coptic binding and hardcovers which are hand-drawn with ink and colored pencil by me. Coptic-bound journals lay flat when opened and can be folded over themselves and this makes them desired type of notebook.

On the front cover, I have drawn a small cottage house like the houses that people build in the mountain where I live- the Rhodope Mountains in South Bulgaria. On the back cover, I have drawn an art showing a mountain lake and a mountain view behind it.

I draw it by hand with a black ink pen and with colored oil pencils that archive the images on the mini covers. I also use a special varnish for pencils to archive the mini arts for a couple of centuries to come!

This mini-book is bound with 100 natural cotton waxed thread and I have used a couple of different cardboards including fine art paper on which to draw for the finish of the mini-book. I also use fine paper green fabric for the framing of the covers.

Paper- 80 gsm. or 54 lbs. - 100% recycled papers, off-white.

1.7 x 2,2 inches.
160 blank sheets- 320 pages.

If you would like to have a similar mini book with other colors for some parts of the book please look at the fifth picture for this listing where you can see and choose if you want a different color for the thread of the binding of the notebook.
I applicate the hardcovers (the orange framing of the covers) with a different colorful thick paper you can also choose another cover application for your journal and I will make one, especially for you with your choices. Look around all the colors of papers and threads and decide which combination of interesting colors you would want to see used in your order and then message me with your desired colors. I will make it then, especially for you!
